On this page you will find the basics about the podcast. Eventually, there might be a faq. Until then, here are the essentials:
1. Many of the topics for the podcast will reflect my interests and experience. That being said, I want the podcast to be driven in part by you, the listener. Tell me what’s on your mind. Who do you think would make a great interviewee? What topic would you like to talk about? Would you consider being a guest on the show?
2. Not all of my guests will be speech pathologists. I would love to feature occupational therapists, psychologists, literacy specialists, etc.
3. My podcasts will not necessarily be topic specific (it depends on the guest and where the conversation takes us)
4. The podcast will probably change over time. Depending on interest and response, the format could change entirely. Right now there is no specific “road map”.
Thanks for listening!
Conversations in Speech Pathology is a podcast meant to provide ongoing dialogue about topics important to the practice of speech-language pathology/therapy. The show, its host, and guests do not provide medical or therapeutic advice regarding individual clients. Parents and other professionals are urged to seek the advice of a licensed professional for specific concerns regarding communication disorders/delays.
